DIY Fabric Bow Kit: Vintage teal and red tartan

Make your own giant fabric Christmas bow with this kit! Aimed at beginner sewists, this project takes approximately one hour to complete. Children are encouraged to try this project with help from an adult. 

Finished bow dimensions: 40cm x 60cm

Instructions will be emailed to you in pdf form following your kit purchase. Instructions also include access to a sew-along video tutorial. 

The kit contains fabric cut to size, beautiful trims, wadding and hanging and assembly strings/ribbon. Trims may vary from completed bow example.

To complete this project, you will need to have:

- A sewing machine (straight and zig zag stitch)

- Sewing machine thread (spool and bobbin). Matching thread is a bonus, but something close is fine, as very little external stitching is visible if any! I use Gutterman sew all polyester thread.

- Needle and thread

- Craft or fabric glue

- Fabric scissors 

- Iron and ironing board

- Fabric pen (or any pen that won't bleed through fabric)
